In 2016, our journey began with a simple goal. To make fine jewelry more accessible without compromising on quality or ethics.

Based in Bangkok, Thailand, we quickly noticed a gap in the market. Luxury jewelry came with inflated prices, while most affordable alternatives were made from low-grade materials like cubic zirconia or glass-filled stones that lost their shine within months. We believed there had to be a smarter way. Jewelry that could combine true craftsmanship, modern materials, and honest pricing.

The Discovery
After months of research and visiting jewelers across Bangkok, we came across Moissanite. A gemstone with remarkable brilliance, durability, and value.
Initially, we were skeptical. Could it truly match the beauty of a diamond?
Our curiosity led us to the United States, where Moissanite had already gained recognition among modern consumers who valued transparency and sustainability.

There, we learned that genuine Moissanite scores 9.25 on the Mohs Hardness Scale, making it one of the hardest and most durable gemstones in the world. It shares many of the optical qualities of a diamond and even surpasses it in brilliance.
This discovery confirmed what we had been searching for: a sustainable, high-performance alternative to mined diamonds that offered real value without compromise.

The Beginning of RIVA Moissanite

That same year, we established RIVASOM Co., Ltd., the parent company of RIVA Moissanite, with a clear purpose —
to provide access to ethical gemstones and fine jewelry that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and integrity.

We built partnerships with reliable Moissanite and Lab-Grown Diamond suppliers, ensuring authenticity, consistency, and verified quality in every stone we source.

By 2019, we opened our office on Sukhumvit Soi 40, and RIVA Moissanite has since grown to become one of Bangkok’s leading distributors of Moissanite and certified Lab-Grown Diamonds.

Our Mission is simple to help jewelers and clients create better jewelry through ethical business practices and sustainable materials. We believe quality should be transparent, pricing should be fair, and every piece of jewelry should reflect both craftsmanship and conscience.

Our Craft Every RIVASOM piece is made using authentic gold (9K–22K) or 925 sterling silver, and set only with premium Moissanite or IGI / GIA-certified Lab-Grown Diamonds. We work closely with designers, jewelers, and clients to ensure that every creation meets the highest standards of precision, durability, and beauty.
